There will be people working on the upper rifle and pistol range to 500 yards this Sunday morning, 8am to noon. The range is normally closed at this time. However, if you arrive shortly before noon or slightly after, please make sure they are down off the mountain and behind the firing line BEFORE moving any firearm from your car to the benches.

While there are people downrange, the Cherokee rule is there is NO firearm handling. This includes travel to or from vehicles and to or from the benches with firearms – even if they are bagged or cased.
