I know we have several newer shotgunners now. Just a quick note on how things work at Cherokee……..don’t be shy, get involved . Everyone I know here in our little shotgun world are very open to new shooters, it doesn’t matter your level of experience. We were all newbys at one time or another. If you want some pointers there are any number of members that will be more than happy to make suggestions. Cherokee has the reputation of being one of the friendliest clubs in the area, that is a wonderful reputation to have and it is directly attributed to our members.

Tuesday 7/30

*open practice , the skeet and trap fields will be open. This time of year most go out early 9 A  ish and shoot till it gets hot

Friday 8/2

*Arts old codgers will be shooting on the hill. They get started around 9a and shoot till lunchtime

Saturday 8/3

*Kettlefoot will host the trophy shoot. Sign ups start at 9a

*Unaka will have there five stand up and running by 10a and they shoot till shooters stop signing up

If you are a fan of 5stand , you can now shoot about every weekend between Cherokee and Unaka. They have welcomed the Cherokee shooters to take advantage of their hospitality.
