From Larry Dark: Howdy

Team ETSS (Cherokee Youth Shotgun Team) just finished their regional competitions this past weekend. They shoot 3 disciplines , trap , skeet , and sporting clays. I will have more scores to report later, but there is one that i want to give a big high five. Grant Bledsoe won high overall for regionals in northeast Tennessee!! This is a very prestigious award, Grant scored higher than any shooter in combined scores counting trap, skeet and sporting.

I also want to thank Cherokee Rod and Gun Club for being the home range and all of the support they give to the youth shooting sports. You may not realize how active your club is toward our youth. They support Jr CMP (rifle) , Team ETSS (shotgun) and kids fishing derby. All of these kids are instructed in gun safety, stewardship, and sportsmanship. The time i have spent with the kids has helped me to see that we still have youth that have been brought up well, showing respect and good manners.
