From Larry Dark: Howdy

Cherokee had  Ladies Day last Saturday. Looked like a success from where I was, the ladies shooting the shotguns seemed to have a good time (the jumping up and down and squealing was a give away) and every one I had broke at least one moving target. Some were really good shots and smoked everything.  We threw a trap target and then # 5,6,7 on five stand. We had lots of help thanks to Bobby Marshall, Kristen Marshall, Rodney Meade , Brian Chandler, and Randy Steed. I hope some of these ladies will venture back out to shoot shotguns with us on our regular days.

Tuesday 5/7 Practice on the hill. We shoot trap and skeet , the ranges should be up and running by 4:30p and we shoot till everyones had enough

Thursday 5/9 Youth Practice. Starts at 5pm

Friday 5/10 Arts Old Codgers will be on the hill getting in a few rounds of practice by 9am and they will go till the Geritol wears off around noon. If your off on Fridays you are welcome to come and shoot, even if your not an old codger.

Saturday 5/11 Our friends at Wilderness Road will host the monthly trophy shoot. Sign ups are from 9-11. they will have a meal.

Sunday 5/12 Mother’s Day. 5 Stand is cancelled so everyone can be with your family.
