From Larry Dark: Howdy

Well spring is here ….but the April shower thing kinda gets in the way. But we had a surprising turn out for our Trophy shoot on Saturday. Thanks to all the brave souls that didn’t listen to the weatherman. I think we had 35 shooters.

Tuesday 4/23 Open Practice on the hill starts about 430p

Thursday 4/25 youth practice starting at 5p

Friday 4/26 Arts Old Codgers will take the hill for some practice they get started by about 9a this time of year. If you’re off on Fridays come on out and play with them.

Saturday 4/27 Five stand , Rodney and Bobby will be ready to shoot by 9a and will be up and running as long as shooters keep showing up to shoot. It usually tapers off around 3 ish. If you’ve not shot 5 stand …you don’t know what your missing. I think its one of the best things we have out at Cherokee . All you need is a gun that shoots twice …pump , semi auto, over and under. Slap in a improved cylinder or what ever you have and bring lots of shells.
