BIRD TRUCK WILL BE AT CHEROKEE BETWEEN 9 AND 10A ON FRIDAY 3/22 . IF YOU CAN HELP UNLOAD IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THIS IS HOW MOST OF THE SHOTGUNNERS GET THEIR CLUB HOURS IN FOR THE YEAR. IF WE HAVE ENOUGH HELP IT USUALLY DOESNT TAKE OVER A COUPLE HOURS , THEN THOSE THAT HAVE MORE TIME WILL SHOOT A FEW ROUNDS.

We had our Monthly Tournament at Cherokee this past Saturday . We had a great turnout and Bob Minke did a great job with the Pheasants for lunch.

Tuesday 3/19 Open practice on the hill ranges open by 4:30p
Thursday 3/21 Youth Practice
Friday 3/22 Unload Targets then Art and his buddies will shoot some trap and skeet
Saturday 3/23 Five Stand . Rodney and Bobby will be ready be 9a to throw targets . Bring lots of shells and get on a squad.
Just a quick note…next Saturday is a fifth Saturday , George Jr has some things in mind. It sounds like it will be set up like a trophy shoot. Paul will have some prizes and sandwiches for lunch. I understand the shooting format will be a little different with trap being one round from 16yd and one from 24yd, skeet will be two rounds shooting true pairs on the middle stations 3,4,5, and 8. I will send out more details in next weeks email. Our 5th Saturdays are always a lot of fun and you never know when a round of Mad Cow or partners trap may break out.
