From Larry Dark: Howdy

If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, you can do that online. Joe is processing renewals and new applications and getting the gate key cards sent out.

If you would like to have keys to the shotgun facilities, the key swap is coming up soon. If you don’t have keys and would like to get one, the requirements are pretty simple

*be trained on the equipment by someone that has a key

*8 hrs of range duty (all day Saturday or 2 Sunday afternoons)

*5.00 Key charge

Key Swap will be on February 25

If you need a promatic card , targets added, or shotgun shells get in touch with

We have had positive response to starting a skeet league on Tuesday Evenings. Bob Minke is working on the format now. Time changes on March 12th , we will get dates and keep you informed.

Tuesday 2/7

*open practice on the hill

Friday 2/10

*Arts old Codgers will be shooting trap and skeet starting around 9:30a and shooting till mid day. If you’re off on Friday they would love to have you join them.

Saturday 2/11

*Wilderness Road will host the Trophy Shoot. Sign up from 8:30a till 10a shooting starts as soon as they get squads ready.  A meal is provided at no extra charge(and its always good)

Sunday 2/12

  • 2nd Sunday Five Stand. Rodney, John, and Tony put in a lot of time to keep the 5 stand running well and interesting. Many thanks to them for what they do!
  • Range open by 12p and shooting will go until everyone quits signing up. Weather bug says we will have a pretty nice day. If its not raining its generally a good day to shoot. If you have not shot 5 stand or if your pretty new to the clay target games , just ask and someone will run with you on your first couple rounds to remind you where the targets are coming from. Just bring a shotgun and a bunch of shells and have a blast.
