ALL EVENTS ARE WEATHER PERMITTING

Tuesday 2/4 *Open practice on the hill . Skeet and Trap Ranges open by 4:30p

Thursday 2/6 *Cherokee Rod and Gun Club monthly meeting. Meeting starts at 7p , a meal is available. 

Friday 2/7  *Arts old Codgers will be on the upper range shooting trap and skeet. They will be ready to play by 9:30a and will shoot till mid day. If your off they would love to have you.

Saturday 2/8  *Wilderness Road will host the trophy shoot. A meal is served. Sign ups are from 8:30a till 10a

Sunday 2/9 *Five Stand. Rodney and Bobby will be ready by 12:00 noon and will shoot till everyone runs out of shells.  Five Stand is becoming more and more popular at Cherokee.  If you’ve not shot it you should give it a try. Bring lots of shells and get on a squad. I am frequently asked what gun, chokes etc is best for five stand. A you need is a shotgun that will shoot twice. 12 is usually preferred, a 20 works fine. As far as chokes you can shoot Skeet or Improved Cylinder on a 12 , I prefer slightly tighter for a 20 with Improved or light Modified.
