Happy new year! We are starting this year off with new truck load of targets. The truck is scheduled to be at the club around noon on Friday 1/6/23. All help is appreciated. Bring your smoke pole and get a few rounds in before or after the truck is unloaded.

Cherokee Rod and Gun Club monthly meeting. Meeting starts at 7p. A meal is available. 

Friday 1/6/23

Arts Old Codgers will be shooting trap and skeet. They get started around 9:30a

TARGET TRUCK WILL BE ON SITE AND READY TO UNLOAD AROUND NOON

Saturday 1/7

Kettlefoot will host the trophy shoot . Sign up starts at 9a. A meal is available

Sunday 1/8/23

Five stand. Range open by noon. For some of our newer additions to the shotgun program….5 stand is a practice course for sporting clays, on a more compact field. There are 8 throwers set up with a variety of target presentations. We have rabbit, chandelles, incoming quartering, outgoing and springing teal shots. Challenging but all of the targets can be killed. The chokes don’t need to be to tight, i usually use skeet and improved cylinder. Just bring lots of shells and get on a squad. If you like someone would be glad to assist you with where the targets come from.
