There’s a lot going on around the shotgun ranges at Cherokee Rod And Gun Club!
We are going to start another Tuesday evening league in a couple weeks. This one is a little different but I think it will be a lot of fun. George Reese Jr suggested the format. It will be an Iron man type of shoot.
5 weeks total . We will use the 4 best scores (1 score from each discipline) On the last night you can shoot to improve one of your scores or use it as a make up if you have missed a night.
Not sure of the exact order yet but one night each of Trap, Skeet, Five Stand, and Doubles (your choice of trap or skeet doubles) Last night as make up
Load of targets scheduled to arrive on June 2nd
June 8th Cherokee Rod and Gun Club will be the Host for the NHRA Speedway Childrens Charity Shoot. There will be several teams participating. My understanding is that they will be shooting Trap , Skeet , and Five Stand. We will need some of our members to help out during that event. Our membership is very generous with their time, I know we will have ample help to make this go very smoothly. As we get closer to time we will get more info on whats needed

*SCTP Youth practice starts at 5p

*Arts old Codgers will be shooting trap and skeet . they get started around 9a and shoot till around lunch time
Saturday 5/13
*Wilderness Road will host the trophy shoot. Sign up starts at 8:30a till 10A. A meal is provided.
Sunday 5/14
*MOTHERS DAY
*Five Stand. Rodney said he was going to open up…If you want to shoot come on out. Ranges open by Noon closes when shooter stop coming
